The Regional Conference for the Arab-CISCO Academies' Directors organized under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Telecoms & Info Technology Eng. Kamal H.Al-Jabri, ended its works in Aden City yesterday
The 150 specialists from PTC, Aden University, GTI, a number of Arab-CISCO Academies' Directors and of the Yemeni technical institutions of both the public & private sectors took part in the conference & discussed a number of working papers on "the International CISCO-Academies' programs, the secrecy of the info networks, the added – value services the in – use latest services of telecoms & the use of the optical-fibers".
In the inauguration of the conference His Excellency the Governor of Aden Mr. Ahmed Al-Kuhlani delivered a speech in which he confirmed the importance of holding such a scientific conference in order to get acquainted with the latest international developments & advancements in the field of telecoms & IT and the crucial role that the international CISCO plays in the field of training & qualifying the university & technical institute's graduates in the domain of networking & IT and providing the trainees with the practical & theoretical skills which help them get good-job opportunities in both the public & private sectors. 
On his part, the general-director of PTC's Aden Branch Mr. Mohammed Al-Zamzami in his speech pointed out to the importance of such a regional conference which was accompanied by the aspirations of the Ministry of Telecoms & IT and the Aden Governorate's Leaderships in making Aden City "digitalized City" by the year 2010.  
He also thanked all the efforts exerted to push the branch's work's quality forward to the top.
 
The GTI's Dean Eng. Mohammed Al-Tawili reviewed the tasks of GTI's Branch in Aden in the IT field, the most up-to-date training capabilities in the various technical sections of the modern telecoms technology that enhanced GTI's ability in serving & developing the telecoms sector all over Yemen & fulfill GTI's obligations towards all the community's groups.
 
At the end of the conference the certificates were distributed among the trainees & graduates of CISCO Networking of Aden Branch in the field of computer.
The Aden Governorate's Deputy Ahmed Salem Rubaye, the Aden University's Rector Dr. Abdulwahab Rawuh attended the conference beside the following directors of CISCO:
- Mr. Mumen Sulaiman, CISCO-Regional Director.
- Mr. Hashem shahwan, CISCO-Soudi Academiec Director.
- Eng. Adel Muhiyddin, CISCO-Networking Engineer.
