The training program events of the project of the Yemeni Government's Website was inaugurated in Sana'a today morning at the City of Telecoms & info Technology . The program is organized by the Ministry of Telecoms & Info Technology MTIT and the General Secretariat of the Ministers' Council during the period from (Jan 24, 2009) to (Feb 11,2009) with the participation of 17 of trainees representing the various ministries & public bodies in addition to the Cabinet's General –secretariat.
On the occasion, the Cabinet's general Secretary Mr. Abdulhafidh Alssimah confirmed that the project was considered as one of the basic criteria of evaluating the performance of the government's organs.
On his part, the PTC's Director-general Dr. Ali M. Nussari said that the opening of the training program of the project represented a particular importance because it concentrated on the qualification & development of the human resources specialized in the theoretic & practical fields through the intensive and continuous training and preparing them to deal with the uptodate technology to get its benefits. "The continuous updating of info & data is an important process due to the fact that the management & editing of the website's content and its pursuit is one of the important pillars to get a dynamic website that enables its visitors to get reactive services and under which all these services offered by the governments can be incorporated under one ceiling or what's known as the unified gate" added Dr. Nussari:
Dr. Nussari also confirmed that the project is considered as electronically-official show window of the Yemeni Government through which Yemen reacts with the whole world and provide the necessary info about Yemen and the electronic services the Yemeni Citizens need to go ahead towards the info community & prepare the Yemeni People for the e-government.
The technical team's head Mr. Abdulwahab ALJahdari showed the timetable of the first phase of the project represented in the preparation & study of the project and the 2nd phase represented in the actual implementation of the project.
The training program includes the study of HTML designing language.
The design & direction of wed pages, editing and managing the website's content in addition to the applications are also included in the program.
